About Us

On 10th February 2017, the board of London Re-use Limited (LRL) had no option but to cease cease trading and put the company into voluntary liquidation as the company’s main funder, the London Waste and Recycling Board (LWARB), had that week decided that it could no longer fund LRL.  Despite LRL’ very strong progress with its new strategy of pursuing business predominantly with the private sector and with universities, the company’s growth during the preceding eleven months was not sufficiently rapid for LWARB to justify further support.  LWARB was the company’s main funder since LRL’s inception in early 2010 and an important partner in helping LRL expand re-use activities in greater London.  The former staff and board of LRL thank its clients and partners and wish them the very best for the future.
This matter does not affect LRL’s parent charity, the London Community Resource Network (LCRN), whose work will continue.
